Lungeing with two lunge lines offers more versatile possibilities
to work the horse from the ground than does a single lunge line.
It plays an important part not only in the training or correction of the riding
horse but also of the driving horse.
Horses can be worked and trained effectively without the weight of the rider.
This, however, does need a higher degree of training in the person using them.
For this reason advanced courses concentrating
on double line lungeing or specialist literature are recommended.
